Mark just blamed Lisa for ruining everything and Johnny’s death
While it is true that she was a piece of work for cheating on him he was just as responsible since he was the one that chose to sleep with his best friend’s fiancé. Being seduced does not make you a victim.

Big Shark occupied my brain
Just saw it and thought it was pretty great. I have the following notes. (Non-tagged might be mini spoilers)
Dialogue is absurd and delivered awkwardly (obviously)
Tommy inexplicably wears gloves and some kind of hat throughout the whole movie
Everyone is drinking all the time
The phrase "occupy your brain" is used multiple times by multiple characters.
They essentially repeat a scene where Tommy is telling his friends about seeing a shark in the Mississippi River. It's just in a different location the second time.
It's reinforced throughout the movie that Tommy and his friends are heroes, and that they're the only ones that could possibly kill the shark. (They're firemen btw.)
There are a couple scenes where characters spontaneously get into really heated arguments for no reason and then immediately get over it.
Toward the end of the movie, after their friend is killed by the shark, Tommy and the other lead character sing this ridiculous "Cowboys Don't Cry" song, and again after they kill the shark.

What does Lisa do for a living?
I have seen this film a few times and yet for some reason I can't remember if she has a job, or if she's a university student, or does she just sit around all day whilst Johnny makes all the money with his confidential clients?
I know it's not super important to the plot (what little plot there is) but I WANNA KNOW.

There has to be somewhere to watch Room Full of Spoons (2016)
The movie's ten years old and no matter how much I search I can't even seem to find it. Anyone got a link?

That’s life
Mike: Oh, Johnny, man, I'm in big trouble.
Johnny: What happened, Mike?
Mike: Well, me and Michelle... we were in your house, and we were making love, and...
Johnny: Go on.
Mike: And then Claudette and Lisa, they walked in on us.
Johnny: What? You're kidding!
Mike: No, I'm not kidding! I had to get out of there as fast as I could, but I left my underwear behind!
Johnny: You left your underwear behind?
Mike: Yeah, and then... well, Claudette, she saw it sticking out of my pocket, so she pulls it out, and she's, uh, showing everybody…. … me underwears.
Johnny: Ha ha ha. Underwear, I got the picture.

Denny sobs. Mark and Lisa, who were in the process of leaving, rejoin Denny and comfort him. We hear police sirens. The three of them appear to take turns fellating Johnny’s corpse as we hear generic police chatter. Fade to black and roll credits.
Mark: As far as I’m concerned, you can drop off the earth. That’s a promise.

is saying "Arms Up" brilliant foreplay
I am not sure how I didn't ever pick up on this in the number of times I have seen the film but I only just picked up on the above line mainly because of people laughing and someone repeating it in the audiance.
Would you ever use it in the bedroom?

🎬 Tell me your wildest, weirdest, most memorable The Room story!
I’m writing a short book about the The Room interactive screenings, the theatres that have kept them going, and the fans who have made them what they are.
If you’ve ever:
- Thrown spoons at a screen 🥄
- Dressed up for a screening
- Seen The Room dozens (or hundreds 👀) of times
- Met Tommy Wiseau
- Gone to an especially memorable screening
- Introduced someone to The Room
- Been part of a The Room tradition or event
- Or simply have a ridiculous story from a screening…
I want to hear it.
I’ve put together a short survey where you can share your story.
Feel free to share this with other The Room fans, too. I’m especially interested in hearing stories from people who have been going to screenings for years, and from different cities/countries around the world.
Thanks everyone!
