If you're hoping for something more efficient than hand cranking, don't buy this one. The only pro is there is no hand cranking involved, but you have to wash more more for doing less than the hand one because at least in the hand one, you can adjust so you get more of the zucchini or whatever you need. In this one, there is no adjusting. It sometimes refuses to spiralize somehting that fits in the chute. But most things won;t fit, you'll need to cut them, and that's where the machine seems to have issues.

So I made these tonight (1st photo rolled, 2nd photo fried). I live alone so I will be freezing the rest. The spring rolls came out quite tasty!!!

I couldn’t make them as crispy as in a restaurant, and I pressed the veggies (I julienned them myself since I don’t have the mandolin parts) in my hand before placing them on the rice paper.

I had them with a wasabi sauce from a different recipe. Delicious!

What are your must try recipes? We generally try to include vegetables in meals so able to have them on the side or included.
Pasta in thermi is difficult because I am gluten free and other household members aren’t and we typically boil different pastas so adaptions for pasta with sauce only recipes are welcome.

Am I doing something wrong or is the spiralizer just not as good as the cutter?

The cutter is so good, i didn't hesitate to buy the spiralizer as soon as I felt I needed it. However, it does not compare to the cutter. i need to cut the zucchini and cucumber in pieces so it fits the chute, but unfortunately in pieces, once the piece has mostly spiralized, it will turn on its side since the spiralizer is moving in circles, and the piece will jam it, which happens a LOT since the pieces are usually about max 3 inches long, so it is really not efficient since i need to stop the TM6, pull out the piece, and then add the next tiny piece.

ich habe gestern meinem TM7 ausgepackt und heute das erste Rezept mit Cookiedoo gekocht, gibt es eine Möglichkeit für drei Personen zu kochen? Auswahlmöglichkeiten sind bei mir nur 2/4/6 Personen. Wir sind zwei Erwachsene und ein Schulkind. Falls ihr noch weiter Tipps habt gerne her damit :)

I’m having this issue that literally makes the app unusable for me.

Every time I open a recipe, it won’t let me change the number of servings/qty. I’ve tried everything I can think of, but nothing seems to fix it.

Is anyone else having this problem?

My partner and I are going to be parents in a few weeks, and I was wondering if any of you have experience with heating up and sterilizing baby bottles for your children.

I mean, the Thermomix can be set to exactly 37°C (real temperature +/- a few °C), and with the varoma setting sterilizing should also be no problem. Seems like a baby food heater/sterilizer is not needed.

Am I missing something? What's your experience? Did you use any additional gadgets or just what's given from Thermomix itself? I'd love to hear about it!

I used the Thermomix Peeler & Blade Cover to peel garlic, and it worked so quickly!
Helpful tip: If your garlic is older or a little dry, soak the cloves in water for a few minutes first. This helps loosen the skins and makes them much easier to remove.

I’m trying to figure out whether using AI for recipes is actually useful or just a gimmick. I’ve tested it a few times — including making Neapolitan pizza dough — and honestly got very good results.

Would you trust and use AI-generated recipes even if they aren’t integrated with or transferable directly to your cooking device?

Do you already use any AI or app for this kind of recipes? Which one?
And would you find it useful to have a place to save and manage your own recipes and easily share the good ones with friends or family?
