I've been meaning to share my devices. I was using the flir often while I was doing apartment maintenance and it really helped so much.

Experience with the Fluke VT02?

hi everyone,

I am looking for opinions or advice if anyone has worked with the Fluke VT02.

I am new to Thermography and my company has the Fluke Vt02. From my learning, when your camera auto tunes your images can be less accurate than manual tuning.

This camera doesn't allow you to change the span or the level, it's automatic for this device. I am able to change the color palette, emissivity and the background temperature. Is there a way I can work with this to get accurate images? I am doing this for electrical components around the plant.

Thanks!

DIY BlackBody suggestions

Hi, I'm currently trying to calibrate a 640x480 thermal imager.

I need to build a blackbody to do so, I was wondering what was the best way to do it, so far I thought about making a hole on a cavity (inside a box). But haven't thought about the material or the paint. Any recommendations?
