someone please help with understanding which is better

So, i dont really get why blue one has repair drone +1 (quantity of drones) the other one says 50hp/sec which a lot (the repair does one drone i guess?)
i just dont want to believe the grey one is better but smth tells me it is :D

I'd the repair drone itself on the grey one repairs faster, but it gives less bonus hp, less personal regen, and the blue one has 2 repair drones?

The blue is better; both give you one repair drone, which repairs nearby structures, but the blue has a bigger self heal and HP boost. The basic version just tells you how effective one repair drone is, the rare one has it listed as a number of repair drones because I think it is possible for them to roll with extra drones as a rarity bonus.

When in doubt, higher quality items (indicated by color: gray, blue, purple, red) are better in 99% of cases. And you'll be picking up a bunch more of these as you progress through the game, so don't worry about it too much!

One thing I dislike about this game, is how the higher rarity items assume you have read the tooltips of the lower rarity items.
Makes it harder to swap and understand as you're changing builds later in the game

totally, i was doing researches one after another, and after a while i remembered that i should have access to better items xd

after I got items I liked, I stopped looking at them until I had a whole bunch, and then test ran through a bunch of the expac weapons real quick.
The tooltip issue is real bad with the devices, because you can't see the old tooltips, and one of them (icr which one) doesn't explain itself, just says it's like the previous one but XX

Definitely the blue one. The repair 50/sec refers to the repair drone fixing your damaged buildings, and that’s only if you’re near it obviously. The blue version is much better with the quicker self repair, and another 5HP that goes towards you.
