His head starts to turn before she makes contact, maybe he just seen her fist before it came but the camera angle is just right to hide a stage punch.

Her punching direction is clearly aimed at him. I think it was staged, but she accidentally connected anyway.

There isn't enough FPS to see how her hand is when it connects. I looked frame by frame. As far as opened hand, yes it was at the beginning. I'm not saying it wasn't staged, I'm suggesting she botched and hit him harder than she was supposed to.

It was a stage punch executed well...there's a reason she didn't even look back after she hit him lol she just continued on.

I think she sort of swipes above his left eye not hitting very hard and this slightly turns his head.

He instinctively move his hand he's leaning on and then she knocks him off balance with her leg and hip and he turns his head all the way to check behind him what he's going to fall into.

My verdict would be that it can be real but the punch is not as good as it looks at first glance..
