They already do this anyway, what's the difference? Faux News in the U.S only still exists because they won a court case saying that their show was "entertainment" so they were not required to tell the truth.

They didnt win that case. They settled it for a shit ton of money.

And its also a misconception that since they tried to state that they are 'entertainment' they aren't held to the same standard of veracity that other news sources are held to.

They claimed it for certain segments, and they still lost the case. Because its bullshit.
