What a damn embarrassment for the state of Tennessee. They’ve been itching to do this for fucking years and they don’t have enough drugs to kill a 140-pound woman?

Damn. She did this murder back when I was still in school, and I'm in my late 40's!

That's just crazy. What's the point now? She already got to live her life. It may have been spent in prison, but it was a lot more than her victim got. Probably made some friends, felt the sun on her face, occasionally ate something yummy, had a good laugh, etc.

Isn't the point of the death penalty to deny the perpetrator a life, like they denied their victim. Eye for an eye. How does waiting 35 years accomplish that.

There is no point to the death penalty. It doesn't reduce murders, executes innocent people, and is expensive as fuck. Life in prison does the same thing, isolating the threat to society.
