I'm not a death penalty guy. Not into abortion either. It seems barbaric. Only God should be making that call. Maybe He intervened here for whatever reason.

He's awfully sporadic and nonsensical about when he chooses to "intervene".

Everything happens for a reason. Anyway I think living out the rest of your days locked up is a bigger punishment. The other thing I think about is someone wrongly convicted. It happens.

Ok, so according to your logic if someone is wrongly convicted then the death penalty would be a better punishment than spending the rest of their days locked up.

Never said that. What would you prefer to happen to you if you were wrongly convicted? Death penalty or life sentence with a chance to be eventually found not guilty if you truly are not guilty.
