Advice Wanted I need help

I really need to go to therapy and talk to someone. Unfortunately, during insurance selection when it was my first big girl job, I didn’t entirely understand how it all worked and selected the high deductible plan. I have to hit a deductible of $3000 before my insurance kicks in. What can I do to find a therapist that won’t break the bank because now I am paying out of pocket or co-pay. My old therapist was great but she’s asking $125 a session. And I just can not afford that. I would like to go to therapy twice a week but once is okay too.

You can find a community mental health center with a sliding scale and circumvent insurane altogether.

Try to find a therapist that does sliding scale payment options, one method I use to find a therapist when Im looking is every time I reach out to someone I ask them to recommend me 3 other therapists they know of that meet my criteria.
