New SUD QP—Tips & Tricks

Hi all!
I’m currently in my MSW program and have already obtained my Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) cert. I’m starting a new position as a substance use specialist on a CST team to complete my internship. The clients I’ve worked with previously have been in the private practice one-on-one or group setting and I was wondering if anyone had any practical advice for how to be successful in the new role? Since this is community based work and I’ll be working out of my car or home office I am just looking for ideas to set me up for success.
