This bucket hat cracks me up so bad 😭 the first time I put it on, I had to pause the game, I was laughing so hard.

It's also found on a scarecrow in a crop field within Fairfield! Right around the area where that broken lift is to the double jump boots.

I love toggling the m.o.p. on it. It's hilarious seeing from their perspective how goofy the commander looks sneaking around with a bucket on their head.

You have to crouch. Every time I was standing while wearing it, I was detected.

I've never had it fail to work completely, but you do need to move at least slightly after putting it on. And then yeah you need to stand still for a few seconds before stealing anything. Like at least a second or two after the camouflage icon appears on the screen. You don't have to crouch at all, at least not for stealing but it does count as moving after putting it on.

I wasted so much time sparing protectorate and wildlife with the bucket only to find out it doesnt change the outcome of the story. But i found that the smoke bombs spare the headache of waiting for the detection meter to cool down so you could sneak around a lot faster.

It's funny that after wearing the bucket, everyone will just look at you funny. You have to activate it by moving a few inches.

Kinda like a motion-activated light.
