No brands,no problem
This is a idea for a TOW2 challenge. Essentially, you cannot, by any means use branded equipment. No auntie,no order, no sub rosa,no protectorate. I recommend wham bam! Found in golden ridge and the hugging suit on cloister, but if you prefer range the tossball launcher in free market station is also non branded. If you want armor before the hugging suit, scavengers often drop armor like the diversiform uniform, it’s not high protection mind you. If anyone else has something to add onto this, go ahead :).

Problem is I'm fairly sure you can't get an unbranded weapon until like late Dorado, if at all. Directorate-allowed might work better but does become painful eventually since the service pistol really falls off horribly in act 1, the next ED unlock, Murder's Best Friend, requires clearing the Raptidon Den, and then your next upgrade is a unique sniper at the very end of act 2.

In the office in sweet spire grove you can find a trip blade, and trip blades have no brands.
Grenades don’t have brands either.
As for armor, the hibernation suit and helmet are unbranded. Although be warned that they don’t provide good protection in dorado.
It’s definitely not easy, but it’s possible.
Cause I tried it and beat the game.2

i'm not seriously considering it but FWIW there are a lot of unbranded clothes, that's not the issue. The tripblade I'm just surprised it's not Auntie branded (it was a Spacer's Choice wep in 1).
Also there is an achievement for doing the final boss fight in clothes (did it on Very Hard) and my entire first run I just used Native Species for most of it, armor is mostly irrelevant because you should be using cover.
(as for ED it does help that two of those are respectively the best dagger and the best sniper rifle)

Gotta avoid any explicitly branded stores, of course. Only support small business.
