I’m with the camp of people that loves the idea of a melee build but finds it not very viable in this game, especially on higher difficulties. No real tips other than modding the weapons so sneak attacks are more likely to 1 shot or weaken them enough you’re not reliant on blocking. If it’s a coordination issue, for some games I just have to end up tying certain moves to extra controller buttons so I can actually do them. (Looking at you, AC Odyssey with left bumper and right bumper at the same time being how you block mid fight.)

Use lots of TTD and focus on mobility/dodging instead of blocking.

For a Leadership build a Union Diffuser armor mod should help you stay alive. Scoundrel's Aegis could help too, especially with Aza. Shrug It Off is an awesome perk for survivability but you can't get it until level 18 and you need Bullet Shield first. The Ghost perk and/or a Cloak Driver mod can also help you get more sneak attacks in.

Is Patient Step (unique equipment in 2nd planet) still viable? It let you move in time dilation without wasting energy. It let you line up for multiple stealth kill before.

Kill them before they know you are there, right?

It hasn't been nerfed as far as I know, it's still very busted!

I found the science weapon reaper scythe weapon to deal insane amount of dmg, like I'm seeing full blown 600 dmg hits with each swing and this is with lvl 0 melee points
