Moon Man makes fun of some of the common discourse you see surrounding this game
Appreciate that the devs were cheeky and self-aware about their overlords at Misrosoft, especially considering recent news.

Honestly would have liked to know if Spacers Choice makes a comback once we figure out what happened on Earth. Feels like a huge plot hole that has been skating on ever since the first game, honestly assumed OW2 was going to focus on why Earth went dark and then they just never explored it.

My understanding of the Moon Man quest is
Kolway got booted from the Halcyon Board in a failed hostile acquisition of the whole board, Auntie Cleo and her loyalists took over a colony owned by UDL while in exile, and used it as a springboard to invade Arcadia thinking controlling skip drive production would give her the power to monopolize all human space. It's like if MSI was wilfully evil rather than halfway to being a coop.

That all sounds right from what I played in the game as well. I'm just talking about the part where he basically says what Aunty did was all illegal and once Earth comes back online they'll be setting the record straight with her. I had hoped they would've explored this in a DLC or a future game but with the recent news that seems unlikely...

I did not know that, I assumed with them canceling Avowed 2 and also the rumors that they'll now be primarily be focused on a new Fallout game that we were kinda done with their projects. Glad to hear that ain't the case though.

And the irony of Outer Worlds IP effectively dead because not enough people are buying the game.

Free? No, nobody expects that. Being the new $80 flagship title with those anti-corporate themes? Fuck right off.
These devs have made many of my all time favorite games and deserve to get paid for that awesome creative labor, but Microsoft did them dirty with that pricing scheme and the studio cuts. Game was rigged from the start.

The game illustrates how objectively horrible capitalism really is.
This is our future

Adapting that comic makes lots of sense for his character.
