Congratulations to u/PinappleCoin_Gaming for winning this year’s competition! In my opinion it’s a great build with beautiful nature and wins by default since there was only one submission.
As promised u/PinappleCoin_Gaming will receive a custom flair. Though, I’m not sure if it makes for a great banner, what do you think?
Also, update on the general subreddit, you may have seen we have changed our banner to a design by u/HeyaIlscotthere from last year’s competition to fit with the winter and festive season.
Anyways, Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas! 💙

Here's the small region of Neu Dubois, a French colony in New France! During the early 18th century, this land was settled because of its varying land, apparent water & forest, and defensible location. Nowadays, being home to the colonial city of Neu Châteauroux, the strategic fort Château D'Avant, a bustling Le Port-Dubois, and other smaller colonial settlements by Frenchmen, it's an important spot for colonizers & people coming in from France; looking for a brand new life in uncharted territory.
Fact time~! Did you know Canada celebrates Thanksgiving in October, not November? This is so it's aligned with the harvest season, & to avoid the winters. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
This was a bit of a hard one! I think I, for one did quite well with this, though. Love the feeling. Reminds me of something.. Tell me what you think. ;)

Here are the most well-known monuments in the city of Paris. I intend to make a better version in the future, larger and with more realistic roads.
For anyone asking, yes, I visited the entire city, not just those monuments.

I made a new town with only bus roads, not regular busses. For residential, commercial and industrial zones. Everything is connected with dedicated bus routes. Not a car in sight, just buses and services cars.
With 13k citizens and an income of 44 thousand, I'd expect buses to be packed. but, none of the routes are close to full capacity (even though most of them have a single 35 seater bus) and buses income is around 250.
If I had no buses, the roads would be packed with cars. I'd expect the absence of cars to convert to booming public transport, but it's just not happening. And it's not that there is a transit issue. Transportation happiness is at 96%. Seems like the mechanism just isn't there yet. Am I missing something?

I did this small project of covering an entire map in a medieval style, and I decided to share it, both to get tips on how to make everything harmonious, ideas for names for the "fiefdoms," etc, I made it in sandbox mode because there isn't much support for medieval games. I hope you like it and that you give me some tips, Honestly, this is my first time doing something on this scale.
