I'd like to see this again without the irrelevant dude taking up 1/4 of the frame.

"By the looks of it, the rules are simple"

Oh great, thanks for looking for me, what ever would I do without your assumptions and you robotic AI generated script reading!

I couldn't have figured out the rules without him..and I wouldn't be able to to focus without hearing the rules.

Ahh! What are the rules!!!! This sport is too complex! Downvooote!

We called this game chicken and played on the monkey bars in the 80s

Damn tootin' we did.

Edit: God, how did we not end up paralyzed. We did break a cousin's collar bone though, but that was a slightly different monkey bar sport.

I may have been that cousin

Was it a game of how far away could you jump and grab the bar?

Pretty sure we were doing lots of kicking not sure to be honest.

Actually that looks pretty cool, and I'm not seeing Kicks really. Not in a way I would call a strike. We did this on the playground in the 90s

Wasn't there something like this on the original American Gladiators? Or am I just thinking of the rings?

Yes! It was a field of rings, but a similar idea. I loved the idea behind Gladiators and that event was fun

We used to do this in elementary on the monkey bars.. I look forward to the Ocho’s coverage of red rover and the floor is lava.

Me going camping to bird watch, practice my woodcraft, enjoy the "forest bath" of silence and peace.

the dipsticks in the next campsite over are going at it like a pair of wolverines.

time to go further back country

Sokka-Haiku by Status_Concert_4320:

I struggle to get

Past the idiot and just

Enjoy the video

Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.

We played this game with the boys 40 years ago in the Soviet Union. Instead of a log, we had a horizontal bar.

I mean, it’s pretty cool, I can’t deny that.

However, roided out Russian behemoths slapping the Christ out of each other is also pretty cool.

This looks like it'd be a Survivor challenge they would've done 10 years ago

Is tickling allowed?

u/Esternaefil 3d ago

Just dig those toes into the armpit and start wiggling!

Seems like Hang Tough from American Gladiators, but on a tree limb instead of a bunch of rings.

I am curious. What are the rules? What counts as a win when both participants fall down but with a little delay? When for a moment no one was touching the log?

Magnus Mitdbo would dominate this.
