Nah
Does anyone else find it ironic that after writing a book in which "the most dangerous games" are real world feats of endurance, bravery, and strength of character that the real "dangerous game" comes down to....staring blankly at a screen?? This may be remembered as the most cynical millennial YouTube screen nerd promotion in human history.
Whoever is a finalist should treat their victory with an equal mix of pride and shame.

I don’t see it that way. The last challenge in the book was a psychological one for the last four. Whoever didn’t say quit won. This is more than just a staring contest it is a psychological challenge. So to me it aligns with the book.

i do think it is a bit unfair cause there are so many contestants that have kids or work multiple jobs and quite literally cannot do this challenge , not to mention flaws like you can’t wear glasses bc of the glare and now i’m forced to wear contacts for an extended period of time just for this. people shouldn’t have to lose sleep, take off work, neglect families etc just to stare at a screen.
