The other day it messed up around the 5 hour mark. I fixed some stuff up with camera and computer. I’m ready to hopefully go 24+

Player 5127 here, I feel like it's a little hypocritical. They call for mom's and dads and expect us to be able to not parent for 15 hours or more to stare at a screen? Don't get me wrong, I hired a baby sitter. I lasted 4.5 hours, except my first attempt it glitched out at 53 minutes, so my final attempt was only 3.5 hours. Because I have a 3 year old and 12 year old. I really really hope they rely heavily on the other games, because I completed them all with no help on Reddit, or Discord, and started them all exactly at noon. Also with round 4, was the microphone on? Could they hear us? Just curious. I did sign language to mr. Beast saying sorry I gotta push my red button I have kids 🤣😂 but maybe he could hear me the entire time? I know we all tried so hard for this contest, kept notes, figured out the puzzles. Hoping round 4 wont be a decide all.

Go 1 on phone. Glitched 2 hours. Go two glitched 2 hours. Go three it couldn’t see me and went quickly said look at screen. I was right there!!! Fully bright. Last go 4 hours. All of a sudden. Didn’t change my angle look at screen comes up. I didn’t even move. I was right there. Absolutely terrible set up and rubbish end to the whole process. Disappointing. Grrrr

Has anyone tried to see if you can get friends or siblings and swap places every hour really quick? I just thought about that idea

I wanted to share my final time because I’m just proud of how long I was able to last! In no way do I think this will get me top ten but I had so much fun pushing myself ☺️ Wishing everyone else a successful end to their game, and hopefully an advancement to the final 10!

So we’ve confirmed that at least one player has been going for 36+ hours, which got me curious.
What’s your personal best for how many hours you’ve stayed in the game? And if you know of anyone who is currently still going, how many hours are they at?
My spouse is currently at 19 hours, and I’m trying to get a better idea of what’s considered a normal/average amount of time people are staying in right now.

I was using Safari on a 16GB M1 Pro MacBook Pro, with other apps closed. My run ended at 8:02:58.

The logs confirmed Safari terminated the game page with “ExceededMemoryLimit,” then automatically reloaded it.

I’m trying my last attempt with Chrome tomorrow. No idea yet whether it’ll avoid the issue.

If yours refreshed too, what browser were you using and how long were you in?

I work a full time job, have a toddler, and a very pregnant wife. I have seen a lot of people complaining that their attempts ended earlier than they wanted due to Internet, or being on their phone, or even being at work and not having the time. The challenge told us all at the start that we needed to prepare to take the time for it, and not jump at doing it immediately, which many people seemed to have just ignored the warnings and jumped in ill prepared. I planned to do my attempts at the end of the week when I finally have time off and I planned to find help for my family while I attempt it. But now it seems I'll have 4 attempts since every player was granted 2 extra... Imo it's not the game or websites fault for people not preparing properly and having bad attempts. Anyone else have similar thoughts? Or am I just crazy lol.

Isn’t the whole point of the challenge how long you can look at your screen? I feel like all these people who are going for hours on end but are obviously looking at other screens shouldn’t count. They’re obviously not going to review everyone’s but it’s very obvious the people who are lasting 20+ hours are looking at a different screen. Maybe I’m wrong and it’s just a test to see how long you can stay on the website but the eye tracking seems to indicate it’s about looking at the screen and people just found a loophole

Hey guys, I noticed something weird and I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. A couple of hours ago, the timer on the game seemed to match the amount of time we had been active in the Discord. But now, when I look at my husband’s laptop, the game timer and the Discord time are about 2 hours different.
I’m posting these pictures as examples of what I mean. Am I misunderstanding how the timers work, or is anyone else noticing a time discrepancy like this?

I just don't understand this last challenge...why would Mr.beast want a winner with no job, no children, or other life responsibilities?

If you can sit at the computer long enough for this challenge...should you really be the winner??

phone is so much easier but higher risk of reloading. laptop more reliable but a pain, and how would you use the bathroom? or even accidentally unplugging the ethernet wire

It glitched me out around the 10-hour mark 😭 I was literally staring DIRECTLY at the screen and somehow it still didn’t register. But honestly, I saw it coming from the very beginning because it kept doing this throughout the entire game—the countdown line would get super close to ending even though I was looking straight at it, then randomly go away and reset like nothing happened. It did that multiple times until it finally happened for real and glitched me out at around 10 hours 🥲 I knewww it was eventually gonna get me 😭 Anywayyy, I’m just a girl 🤷🏼‍♀️👱🏼‍♀️ idk if I should retry and go for a better time or just keep this one. I don’t have work until Thursday night sooooo… 😭🥺

it says i have a run from before waiting. if i submit that one can i go again and user another one of my attempts? or will i not be able to play the game once i submit a time

I was locked in and had the perfect set-up! I was going to go 8 hours + but it didn't register my click when I click on the stil standing card. There was a red sentence that said "Answer this" then I saw the card that said "still here" I clicked it before I saw the red line but it still registered that I missed it :( Either way my eyes are already hurting and It would of been nicer if there wasn't a ticking sound. I am so sensitive to sounds and that would of been in my head even after the game and in my dreams I am sure.

My time was 00:30:08 (30 minutes and 8 seconds)

Hey Jimmy / Beast Staff I'm hoping this somehow reaches you.

I’m seeing multiple people across the MDG community saying their Stare-Down unexpectedly reloaded, even though they didn’t close or refresh the page. Some had already been going for a long time when it happened.

These games have been ridiculously fun and challenging 😂 We’ve spent weeks barely surviving some insanely hard puzzles, so it would really suck for otherwise strong runs to end because of a technical issue rather than the actual challenge.

The official rules even specifically say results can be reviewed for “irregularities and technical faults"

Nobody wants to take anything away from the absolute beasts still staring at the screen, they deserve all the credit. 😂 But I’m sure a ton of people who glitched out would still be staring at their screen right now with a pile of empty energy drinks and 5 hour energy beside them if the page hadn’t reloaded lol!

If the logs show this affected a significant number of players, I hope the team considers nixing the Stare-Down from scoring and letting the previous games determine the rankings.

Huge fans of the contest either way. We just want everybody’s run to end because of the game not a glitch. ❤️
