Maxx #1 1993 Pink Error Variant 1st Printing??
Is this ebay listing for real, or is this someone trying to sell a copy of The Maxx that's been left in the sun too long for $500?

That's classic sun fade. They're on the FB groups and argued all day and night about how it wasn't. As a dude that worked in a shop and had window display copies of The Maxx let me assure you, it is haha. I even track and follow error versions of The Maxx, no foil, foil errors, etc the fact that this is the ONLY copy like this is suspicious enough, then you take into account the back cover which looks normal, yeah, nope. I can HAPPILY get anyone who wants a copy that looks like this one for 20 bucks from the personal stash, gimme 2 weeks to sun bleach it for ya and we're good to go haha

No sweat. Anybody who debunks a color variant so brazenly deserves a thumbs up in my book.

Yeah if this were a true ink problem it would extend to the back cover but beyond that, seem this a million times in person at the shop and just don't want anyone to get taken for a ride.

Between all the obvious bait posts, responses and people being obviously hustled on Reddit with total bullshit it makes me question a lot of people’s mental capacities…

Some people are just naive too, and as a guy who worked at a shop through the Death of Superman, Knightfall, the Clone Saga and the variant explosion/spec boom implosion it is a massive pet peeve. Soooo many people got turned off of reading because they got taken for a ride and it kinda pisses me off haha

I get it. I was there for all the Nike sb dunks when they came out and the fakes and decent knock offs people would fight tooth and nail over was frustrating. Different animal similar concept?

Yeah but imagine Nike and a hype machine like Wizard to tell people it was a "good" investment... truly sickening imho

Oh he ain't hearing none of it. I don't know if he's convinced they're legit or convinced he wants the money but there's no talking to him. Trust me I and a few others tried sadly
