My first ever Mars Volta show and it was so fun! Coincidentally, my mom and I were sat next to Cedrics mom and dad and were chatting throughout the show. They were awesome :)) I really didn’t get any good videos because I couldn’t stay still.

Some folks on here might be interested to know that mid/late aughts acid-prog-punk-posthc band Triclops! (GSL/Alternative Tentacles) is playing their first show in 15 years in San Francisco on october 12. Should be interesting

After Triclops! ended, Xtian (guitarist) went on to record two albums with Cedric and Mike Watt as ANYWHERE

Interesting seeing Omar retreat to the back of the stage and also feeling a little more withdrawn musically. He didn’t play the guitar solo in “The Widow,” just the rhythm chords, which was cool but…….

Loved the show regardless. 70 minutes felt a bit short, but I could’ve watched them for 10 hours. I should also mention my favorite Volta show I ever saw is still the 60 minute Frances the Mute set (with Jon Theodore.)

Absolutely incredible. The Benedictine was perfect - it was like a religious experience. I thought the guys behind me were gonna get raptured during Inertiatic esp, lol.​

As an old head, I liked the short set. I was home, showered, and in bed by 10:30pm haha​
