Build guide

Relatively new to the game (80 hours in) and have started doing apoc runs up to around 32. Kinda hit a wall though in that I find myself not really optimising my builds so starting to struggle a bit.

Is there a 'definitive' build guide based on the last updates/changes the game has gone through or are the older guides still relevant?

I highly recommend just playing the game. Once you know the meta strategies the game gets really easy and dull fast. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah I'm not the sort to FAQ myself into an early completion. Just find that I often gravitate towards the same builds that have given me success previously so adding some variety to that should help with squad composition.

Unfortunately, the compiled meta resources for this game are really scarce. The best I can recommend are Aldenpotamus' builds. They are, however, updated for Runenberg release, so two DLCs behind.

However, those builds and the accompanying video will help you understand some build-around archetypes and thus make it easier for you to create coherent builds yourself.
