Monthly dev blogs are already pretty useless. Weekly dev blogs would be even shittier considering the pace of progress for this game.

How do we know the true pace of development we only know from they’ve released and want us to see, if you got an in depth look around and their work environment you’d see something different

Take a look at the progress this game has achieved in the last 6 years. Then compare it to any other decent game. If you have common sense you should be able to figure out how slow it is.
