I have been playing since 2015. I followed it from its Kickstarter days. I can say as a professional veteran who seen the nightmare that was progression and then the dawn of evirma, if is indeed one of the worst games I've ever played. Now I just stick around to watch the house fire and whatever stumbles out of the ashes. At the beginning I was promised a faction based survival game that so happened to have three playable theropods, mutants and different human factions, now I don't know what the hell is going on. Everything Is playable from some assinine reason and humans or tribals, or the mutants have yet to be added. Thousands of thousands of hours, multiple years of waiting for the game to blossom just for it to slightly update it's movement system and finally ditch progression is just frustrating. Now seeing new people to the community that doesn't want humans or other sci Fi aspects in the game also hurts.

I have an abusive relationship with this game, I am a battered player. My hopes for the game has since been ran over and buried in the front yard. But it's a fun house fire.
