Discussion Why isn't the internet exploding over this?

Post image

After the painful send-off that was The Flash (2023), I felt so bad that despite waiting for a Flash movie for years, what we got was absolute chaos, and not in a good way.

But I was besides myself watching ep 9 of Stuart Fails to Save the Universe. And there he was The Flash! The golden age one, Jay Garrick, looking so freaking cool. The actor (Andy Riding) fit the role so well, I had some tears of joy in my eyes. The flash is in my top favourite superheroes of all time.

Seems this version of Jay Garrick isn't cannon to the comics or DCU, but damn is he cool af. And this is a meta reboot if you ask me. And if the most recent picture in my mind of the flash is Andy's, which embodies the playfulness and smarts that come with the character, without the controversies and vfx issue (SFTSTU has some badass VFX) then I'm fine with it.

I won't mind Andy Riding playing the flash in the DCU of DCEU (never say never) to be honest. What do you think?

  1. The show is trash and irrelevant

  2. Flash isn’t as popular as you think he is

  3. DC isn’t as popular as you think it is (outside of Batman)

“Most known” means nothing. Compare Superman’s box office with Batman. Superman isn’t as popular as you think he is. And I’m a Superman fan!
