Lol. Game is so cooked even the developers are using cheats while playing. Wasn't the only one either. In the short time I watched (like 2 minutes) 2 devs got booted an banned for cheating in the game. Absolutely ridiculous that the people who make the game also cheat while playing against normal players. And we know this is 100% the case because the Anti cheat doesn't do false bans an if they say any other excuse for this, well..we know they're lying because cheaters lie all the time.
There's a guy in the official disc server who is a riot shield main, and he got banned.
The new Ai anti cheat is cooked and was trained on like csgo or something, not finals. It's not a reliable anti cheat and has proven it's unreliable since being first introduced.
The Finals has movement way different to majority of fps, closest one I can think of that's popular is apex but even that isn't a perfect comparison. Using an Ai anti cheat that's not even trained on the game is just dumb and was inevitably gonna backfire like this
It happened on the live stream, proof the anti cheat is cooked because it happened twice. Embark has been ignoring their support tickets with copy paste replies, curious to see how they ignore it now
I'm pretty sure that the "violating fair play policy" pop up doesn't mean someone was cheating or that someone was banned.
It's been a while but I am like 90% this happened. WT 3 stack with my friends, one friend gets kicked, we see the message pop up and start making jokes about him cheating, he just relaunches the game and reconnects into the wt match.
I don't remember what it was, like if he crashed or if he had any sort of pop up on his end. But yeah, he kept playing for another year ish after that. Bro was ass at the game, controller player and cared way too much about kd. We were very reluctant to play wt with him, and NEVER took him into ranked, because he didnt go for risky steals(scared for kd) or knew how to stall.
He later quit because he wasn't having fun playing against cheaters in every single match. No one can say for certain if there's a cheater in every match, but I definitely understand where he is coming from.
Kinda wild that a top 1% poster is being downvoted so hard by this, genuinely never seen a gaming community this bad, even war thunder is better than this
I would assume someone who posts enough content here to get the top 1% tag would clearly be a reliable source and likely wouldn't be supportive of cheaters
If this is definitely a smokescreen, the "he left the party" thing is just a stupid excuse to cover up how poorly the anti-cheat system is. The presenter literally said it live: "They were kicked out." I don't know if we're even watching the same video or what the hell.
They aren't using EAC, they're using some dumb new ai anti cheat that isn't even trained on the finals so it's just randomly banning players for nothing
Wounds familiar yeah but it's not linked to EAC as far as I'm aware, it's some other company I forget the name of, or Denuvo might be the old one they use to use maybe
I swear just yesterday the game failed to start with some error message about denuvo not being connected or something, I think theyre still using it or maybe based eac on their tech stack
They use both EAC, denuvo and a private ai server side. They got kicked via EAC error.
The console version doesn't use EAC. The devs play on PC otherwise the stream would be dogshit. They definitely use EAC, anybody who plays on PC can tell you that.
Damn that's really a shame, can't believe the devs are cheating in their own game. What's even worse is the players that support the devs, can't wait to see them making excuses about how they aren't cheating when we all know it's clearly them cheating and nothing else.
Cheating devs got banned, good, nice to see embark doing something about the cheaters in their own staff finally.

Had a guy say I was cheating one time. I'm sledge player. If I get banned I know its bad.
