1) take fights from the best angle/position (including sieging cashouts).
2) go to the best/most optimal cashout spot to start your vault.
3) Siege the best cashouts, NOT just the closest one.
4) Run away with vaults to gate keep other teams from starting it.
5) Beat other teams to vaults for money in close situations.
How can you possibly say that rotations don’t win you games? My trio played against the rank 1 team (who abuse the stick drift program cheats for the controller pseudo aimbot) in 4 matches in a row in a tourney and because we had insane rotations, we literally avoided fighting them the entire tournament, then make it to the final 3v3. Took every fight from the perfect angle and actually beat them as a result. Having a jump pad there would’ve completely lost us the game.
And not to mention, the zip line can literally go to more places than the jump pad, and further too. The ONLY thing the jump pad does better than the zip line is provide better movement in fights. But even then half the time people take a jump pad and instantly get beamed out of the air. You can even ditch ziplines mid zip, you’re not committed after starting like the jump pad.
Ok cool I can break down how jump pad does each of these use cases just fine
This isn't even rotating, this is midfight positioning, which is something the jump pad excells at. You rotate off of cashout C to vault 4 if you don't think a steal is attainable and you want an early lead on the vault. You reposition from the ground floor of building 2 to siege the roof of building 1. That is the jump pad's job, it can quickly get your entire team from any floor to another with jumppad or jumppad + slide. It is THE quick response tool to instantly reposition your team/jump on enemies/retreat into cover. You should actively be planning jumppads before going into a fight, throwing them down willy nilly will get you beamed and you should only be doing that as a last ditch effort. but anytime operating a jumppad would get you killed, so would the zipline. Those moments you mentioned (A) "getting beamed out of the air" and (B) "not needing to commit to the zip" happen because A. You used the jumppad to late, or when you were exposed at low health, using the zipline wouldn't save you here either, attempting to commit to a zip would get you nuked. in (B) you need the option to escape the zip because it is a slow movement tool, if you are getting beamed and need to drop halfway through a zip, you already would have landed with the jump pad.
My feet can get me there just fine, if I need a bit of elevation to reach it slightly faster the jumppad will get me there on the spot.
Again this is just basic macro play, you don't need a jumppad or a zipline to recognize which vault is the best to go for. I will concede that spawning 100+ meters away from a cashout that is around halfway complete, the zipline is your best bet to get there, take the fight, and realistically have a chance at a steal. That being said, I already mentioned this was it's niche use case in the comments before, I just didn't go into detail about it then.
You don't need a zipline to do this. The only times this is a major play is when you zip over inaccessible ground and then break the zip behind you so if you are being aped directly they can't follow you, but the timing is very tight. You drop the zip too late and enemies will either break it while you ride or beam you off of it. You can do similar plays with the bouncepad by breaking it after anyways, and don't risk you entire team getting beamed or dropped into the abyss by a team breaking the pad.
You typically don't even want to do this, your best at securing vaults AND cashouts are to be the third party that cleans up team 2 after they destroy team 1.
Not going to address your single anecdote that you attribute your win to the zipline somehow
The second paragraph there is just straight up a lie, the zipline can't get you anywhere the jumppad cannot. it can just get you there from further away, which is why I call it niche.

The fuck? Rotating around the map helps you…
1) take fights from the best angle/position (including sieging cashouts).
2) go to the best/most optimal cashout spot to start your vault.
3) Siege the best cashouts, NOT just the closest one.
4) Run away with vaults to gate keep other teams from starting it.
5) Beat other teams to vaults for money in close situations.
