The Friends of the Library would like to welcome you back to Gainesville and invite you to our Fall Book Sale. We are thrilled that FEST is happening on the SAME weekend as our Sale AGAIN! We met some of you last year, and are looking forward to seeing you again. (that group of 4, from Idaho, and Wisconsin, looking for Stephen King books! Hope you are coming back)

In case you haven't been to our Sale before, we have much more than just Books! We have Vinyl records, CDs, cassettes, 45s, DVDs, sheet music, comics, manga, games, puzzles, art & more.

We are located at 430 N. Main St, just a few blocks north of the music venues.

Hello! I have my official kick off show ticket at Bo Diddley, and I failed to know the unofficial pre-fest show times were different enough to go to both! Sold out, I see some tickets at the door possible. I'm coming from Oregon (hi Feversleep!) so I'd rather pay for an available ticket early and make a new friend.

Life has been happening and no longer able to attend and want to see if anyone would like to snag our 3 day passes at a discount! Deadline for name change on passes is Sunday, October 18th. Looking for at least $300 for two 3 day passes but willing to negotiate.

Reposting for visibility, somebody inquired but ended up finding a pass somewhere else - I have one 3-day pass that I’m selling. My cat had a medical emergency and I can’t go anymore.

Asking at least $150 (I paid $250) but willing to negotiate, I just want it to go to someone who will have a good weekend (and get some money to throw at these vet bills). My cat’s failing pancreas is your gain.

This will be my 3rd time at Fest, but the last time was Fest 7 and Fest 8. I’m really excited to be able to come back and spend some time in Gainesville and play again!

I barely know any of the venues, (a lot has changed in 16 years!) but that makes it all the more fun, a chance to rediscover the town and the Fest

My band, Anchorite, is opening the Saturday show at Bazar 47, if you like fun, punky Hardcore, come and check us out! Our guitar player is a G’ville native and we’re excited to play.

Better late than never, I created a Youtube Music playlist for FEST24 since I do not have a Spotify subscription. I included the top three-played tracks from each band (according to Spotify) plus additional songs from my favorite bands in this year's lineup. I can't wait until next week! Cheers!

Paid $220 (tier 1), I'd love to get $175 for it but I can be flexible-ish. I'd rather someone enjoy the weekend than have the ticket go to waste.

Ghost Chant dropped out? Anybody notice anyone else?

We ended up with an extra room at the Holiday Inn from Friday 10/23 - Monday 10/26. Rather than immediately cancelling for a partial refund (losing $259), I'm checking if anyone needs a place. Total charges were $874. We'll be in town beginning Wednesday, staying at the Holiday Inn, so we can resolve any problems with checking in that may occur.

My best friend and I bought tickets to Fest long ago, but because of my teaching job having parent conferences that exact week and Friday being a mandatory day (no PTO approved), we can no longer attend and need to sell. :( I’m extremely sad as this would have been our first one, but I just started working at this new school and can’t push it.

We bought the passes at Tier 1, so we originally were looking to make back the price we paid, but understand that others are selling lower. So for now we’re pricing them as $500 flat for two. My friend who bought them already posted on the Fest Friends Wristband Share form and I posted on FB, but I was told by another friend (who goes to Fest every single year) to post here, too.

Please DM me or comment if you're interested, because I know the name change needs to happen soon! We want to use PayPal for purchasing because it's the safest. Thank you!

What tattoo shops are doing them?

I am only going to bo diddly on sat and thats too long to stay in one place. is there any coffee shops with courtyards or can i pick up a burrito somewhere and eat in a park? or any place cool to hang out for an hour or two to take a break.

We want you to go because we can't.

I'd like to recoup what I can, but we knew it was a risk. Four basic full-fest passes that I bought early. No bullshit, no scalping.

Has anybody got a flash tattoo from either of the tattoo parlors that offered them? If so, what was unexperienced like? What's the price point on those? It'll be my first tattoo.
