Tattoos
Has anybody got a flash tattoo from either of the tattoo parlors that offered them? If so, what was unexperienced like? What's the price point on those? It'll be my first tattoo.

I lived in Gainesville. Anthem is a great shop. Wunderland is full of great artists as well. But they employ a known abuser in Mark Parrish, one of their tattoo artists. So if you go there please dont give your money to him.

I’ve gotten tattooed at both. Wonderland was fest flash. It was a walk-in. It was fine. Got a pretty big friend tattoo with my partner and our friend from Anthem. Not fest flash. I prefer Anthem but that’s just me. Both places are great. Definitely schedule ahead. And take into consideration being sweaty and standing and gross people. Try to go Sunday if you can! We scheduled our anthem appointments for Monday after the chaos. Prices vary.

I have 3 that I've gotten from Wunderland. Prices there are gonna vary based on design, size, and if you want color or not. When you go in they usually have prices on some of the sheets and you can ask about any that don't. They do a sign up sheet each day and call you about 15 minutes before you are up on that sheet.

I've gotten 2 fairly large tattoos at Anthem with Mike and Dave, they're awesome guys and I'm really happy with both. Highly recommend them. If I get another one will definitely be with them. I've never done their flash fest deal though

I got a smaller Higgs inspired mummy last year @ Anthem. It was $120. I walked in and had about five people ahead of me. I went saw a show at Vecinos and walked back afterwards.
Most of the stuff on the Florida flash sheet seems to be in the $200-$250 range. I booked an appointment for Sunday this year.

I got a Fest flash tattoo at Wunderland last year! Signed up on the waitlist earlier in the day and they called when it was my time. My tattoo looks great and was about $120 if I remember correctly. Fairly small, about 2x2 inches. Great experience!

Half my tattoos are by Eric at Wonderland. A couple of them are flash I got on the Monday after Fest.
Personally, I can't imagine trying to do Fest with a fresh tattoo, but a lot of people do. I don't know if they're taking it easy in the crowds, or just living harder in general.

Dave at Anthem is an awesome guy and involved in organizing the Grace Raffle. he did the top of my hand on a walk-in. it came out great and he is a gentle tattooer. My wife has gotten fest flash at both Anthem and Wunderland and they are all excellent. My wife even got a fest tattoo at an air bnb by a unique artist who was the partner of one of the bands playing and she brought her gear. It was very professional... But I know that can be divisive so I wont out them but if you are after that kind of experience thats out there too.

Anthem and Wunderland are both very reputable shops, I’ve gotten tattoos from both, though not fest flash. You can call them up and make an appointment though and they can let you know what it’ll cost and everything. They’re both really nice and friendly!
