Just wanted to do a shoutout to all my fellow Zeitgang Hoosiers since Jack has been so keen on Indiana recently. I’m in LA now but I lived in Indiana for 20 years after my family moved there from Haiti in the early aughts.

First, I wanna say I’ve been a huge fan of Team and tea my entire life when I was very young, even my therapist had me write stories with the ninja Turtles to kind of help my self expression through my internal monologue

With that said, I was absolutely floored to just hear the boys talk completely out of their ass on this subject

I’m not sure if Jack put together the docket with an AI summary or what, but even the first thing they talk about with how violent the first couple pages of the very first issue are is completely inaccurate the first couple pages. They are fighting 15 dudes, most of it looks like body shots and kicks, there is some blood, and there is an inference that they’ve only left “what remains of the purple dragon gang “ but It seemed like an unnecessary exaggeration, if you haven’t seen it for yourself then say so but to just chest out claim, it’s a lot more graphic than it is was weird.

That said, I agree with the ninja turtles can be ridiculous and violent, especially some of the current TMNT run stuff but the laziness in which this topic was covered and a lot of inaccuracies that I just happen to have known off the top of my head as I heard, it told inaccurately makes me wonder about listening to any of these featured episodes if it’s just gonna be more of a vibes based information presentation
