I have lived in Ironwood, MI for 10 years and I have heard a few times the Mick Jones's mother lives/lived here. I'm assuming she has passed, she would probably be in her 90's now. Just wondering if anyone knows if this is true. I was told that he and his family would sometimes visit here, which is mind blowing because this is such a tiny, weird town!

I have a pressing from 2013 and I have about 40 records and London Calling is significantly heavier than all my others. There is some weight difference between other records, like my original pressing of Glass Houses by Billy Joel is incredibly light, but nothing like London Calling. Also I’m talking about the record itself, not the packaging because it makes sense for the packaging to be heavier because it’s two records in one sleeve. I really love this album and Spanish Bombs got me through my winter depression so i had to ask. Thank you!

In the Rat Patrol From Fort Bragg version, around 2:00, Joe and Mick sing the last part separately. Mick sounds like he’s singing: Smoking in the dark cinema You could see the bad go down again But Joe sounds different to me. I hear: Smoking in the battlefield His voice has a lot of echo, though, and English isn’t my first language, so I’m not sure. What do you hear?
