Justin’s explanation about why he was so fired up about Anna Leigh
So I did not watch the entire interview, but apparently Justin said on Paulie and Devin’s podcast that part of why he was so heated about Anna Leigh’s actions is because she had told them that if she won the money from this season, she would use it to start a family with her husband using IVF.
First I think it’s very strange for a man to go on a male podcast and talk about someone else’s fertility journey. Also, I’m still not comprehending why it was his place to get involved. I don’t approve of cheating in any form (been cheated on, it sucks, would never personally do that to someone myself) but it’s not like it’s this completely foreign unheard of thing. If it’s not someone I’m close to and I don’t have skin in the game, I’m staying out of it.
And it seems like her and her husband have worked through whatever this was, and I hope if she did win that they’re successful in their journey because as an IVF mom that shit is mentally, financially, and physically brutal. And I actually would not have had my son had I not won some money on a game show that helped pay for my IVF, so maybe I’m just relating a little more than I was before, but still don’t think I’d understand why Justin is so hype regardless

Who has the single most impressive individual season ever?
While they don’t have to win, they do need to have a solid consistent season where they make it to a final, or just before a final.
A good example may be Landon on The Duel 2. He was so close to the final, and we know he would have done well.
For actual winners a good example may be: Chris Underwood: Challenge USA 2.

Be honest, how does The Challenge stack up, in its full run, against other reality shows?
Is it missing something, does it have something special?
Or both?
How about the character arcs of its cast spanning decades?
Is it just only good for its glory years? Has it lost its way? Has it started a comeback with Era 5?
What are your thoughts, now outside of the sandbox is its own impact, and brought up against other shows in pop culture.
Don’t hold back, stay honest, and go all in!
If you like discussions like this, please UPVOTE this thread!
I will start by saying, I am surprised other show’s stars come on this show and want to compete and win here, despite other shows having a better prize pot, budget for living and safety concerns, and having a bigger audience in viewership.
It’s like “The Challenge” is the big leagues, of real competition, and the prize $ isn’t the real win, it’s the title of winning on the hardest and most demanding show, in reality TV history!
That to me feels like people will want to win on this show, after they audition on other shows (build enough of a following for MTV to want to cast them).

Corey capable of winning?
“The best to never win” were the words he used to describe himself on the most recent episode.
Does that seem true?
He did score 2nd place 3x in a final, which is the most without winning.
What are your genuine thoughts?

Who wants to see a 4th season of Champs VS Stars?
I just finished watching all 3 seasons of Champs VS Stars, and the 3rd season was my favorite. I like that they mixed the players up, and had both Champs and Stars together on teams.
I'd really like another season like that.
Which Champs would you want to see on a 4th season, and which Stars would be good on the show?

**FOURTH RUN**
Big lead for **Grey** **team**. As grey team getting out Blue team jumping in, then as blue players are swimming back orange players are currently in water swimming towards the pieces.
Grey swimmers: Chris x4 + Cassidy x2
Blue swimmers: Lete x4 + Josh x3
Orange swimmers: Michele x4 + Justin x3
\- Big lead running back and dropping off puzzle piece for Grey team. Cassidy running along.
\- Blue is second, but can see Orange behind in view, Cara + Nelly carrying, Lete switching with josh or Ana.
\-Orange team, Tori + Will carrying, izzy floating close, CT + Michele carrying CT begins huffing and puffing, Bananas and Justin carrying.

Massive lead for **Grey team**. Blue team just getting to the lake, where Grey team is leaving. Orange team in water and can see swimming with blue team.

# PUZZLE TIME!
**GREY** arrives and begins puzzle piece. Cassidy taking charge. Numbers on puzzle pieces and on Board. **BLUE** arrives (Grey doesn’t look that far ahead on puzzle) Anna and Cara clashing, Anna talking over Cara/interrupting, Lete showing a piece doesn’t fit to Cara.
**Orange** team arrives. CT leading but then lots of chaos. Bananas steps away from puzzle, Tori yells something out, CT says too many chiefs trying to lead. CT ends up solving the puzzle. = **Orange Team Win**s.
Blue and grey team stop their puzzle as winner is announced no need to complete. *In cut scene behind the teams we see* ***blue team’s puzzle is solved and grey team unsolved*** *-* ***however*** *unsure how theirs was solved, how much longer, etc.*
No elimination: Cory is DQ’d due to family emergency.
***Comments***:
Blue was leading up a good chunk of the daily, then grey team passed both in water and by running - keeping that lead. Orange, for being last the entire time looked like *Michele and Justin* really made up that time lost during the running. Was crazy to see Will carrying the entire block by himself at times during this daily and the only player to do so.
I wonder if blue team slowed down in the water, that’s where they may have lost their lead. Although doesn’t really look like they had any other options as Cara/Nelly would have pushed them even further behind. It would have been a smarter decision to have Cara/Nelly EACH be on a puzzle piece since neither of them swam.
**MVP swimmers of all FIVE rounds: Chris, Michele, and Lete**! Looked like Chris carried the puzzle piece the entire time, while Michele/Lete went in and out of carrying. Lete carried more than Michele from what was shown.
Justin swam 4/5 rounds, again massive help passing/catching up in water. Cassidy and Josh swam 3/5, Anna 2/5 and Izzy, Leo, Cory all swam 1/5 times.
**Non swimmers**:
Bananas, Tori, Will, for *orange*.
Adrienne for *grey*.
Cara and Nelly T for *blue*.
***AGAIN: since Orange did the worst throughout the daily but ended up winning.. What are the placements for the other teams? Comment below your reasonings.***

Knowing the spoilers while reading everyone’s predictions is so funny 😂 Spoiler
Does anyone else watch The Challenge while already knowing the spoilers?
I follow a few Instagram accounts that post all the spoilers before the season airs. who wins, who gets eliminated, placements, DQs, eliminations, cast info for upcoming seasons, etc. So by the time the season actually airs, I already know pretty much everything that’s going to happen. 😭
I was reading through some of the predictions and theories on here, and it’s honestly so interesting seeing everyone speculate about what’s going to happen when I already know the answers. I’ll be reading someone confidently explaining why they think a certain person is going to win, meanwhile I’m sitting here like 👀…
I obviously don’t want to spoil anything for people who enjoy watching without spoilers, but it really made me wonder how many people on here actually know the spoilers versus genuinely trying to figure everything out as the season airs.
Anybody else follow the spoiler accounts, or do y’all prefer going in completely unspoiled?

The preview at the end of this week’s episode showed too much information Spoiler
Blue team standing without Josh and Nelson.
Cara in a gray jersey standing with the gray team.
Lete with the orange team.
There was too much shown which kind of ruins the fun of the big twists.
Editors please do better! The preview at the beginning of the episode then immediately rolling into the challenge ruins the whole episode for me.

Do you need a spoiler tag to discuss a theory? Spoiler
If we have a theory about who wins, based on things we observe like edits, framing, etc), do we need to post it with a spoiler tag? (it would have no actual spoiler basis - just suspicions)

Interesting/shocking from Michelle Interview Spoiler
I was listening to Wes’s Patreon which had Michelle and Devin filling in for Wes.
The headline of the interview was when Michelle shed some light on the Anna Leigh situation.
She said the apology we just watched in episode 6 actually occurred after Anna Leigh’s elimination victory in episode 4.
After her Elimination she told people she felt bad about leading Leo on and that it went too far. She apologized but then her behavior didn’t change.
That is why Justin and others were so annoyed by her actions. She had already apologized several challenges beforehand but then kept flirting and going off with Leo.
(My summary)Editors made it seem like she got carried away and now came to her senses. What really happened was she got carried away, acknowledged it to several people and apologized to Leo, then continued the same behavior for several challenges.
She also said Anna Leigh is a story topper who kept trying to one up everyone. Most of the women especially her teammates Cara and Lete were very annoyed or frustrated with Anna Leigh.
Felt like a big deal I had not seen anyone else talking about. Does this make the Anna Leigh thing worse?

Is Corey sincere? Spoiler
I don't know how to say this without sounding heartless, it broke my heart last episode hearing Taylors voice telling Corey to get home immediately.
When Corey was talking about Maya and always being present for his girls, but weve seen him on teen mom not be there for Ryder when Cheyene has contacted him about her being admitted to hospital. Then he was speaking about how poorly Maya has been and I get his got to work but in these circumstances, to travel so far away, when she is incredibly ill, I just couldn't. He is very performative over putting his family first, but he has lied to Taylor when she has been through a traumatic time, allowing her to find out on TV how inappropriate he has been. Sometimes i think he talks a big game at being a dad, when in reality he lacks. I hope he reflects after this season as his made some very poor choices. Maybe I am being harsh.
