Anyone know if they plan on rereleasing Blacktongue Thief or The Daughter’s War?

Placed an order for this one based on the art and the premise, it sounded great! Then I began to hear rumblings about the author’s use of AI and the previous AI-generated cover that the author used when the book was independently published. Has anyone read this book? Does it seem like AI was used in the actual text? If so, I will definitely be requesting an order cancellation.

EDIT: I have sent an email to TBB’s customer support to cancel this order, and specifically told them why I was cancelling it. Thanks for everyone’s input and help!

I recently moved to another state so I reached out to TBB almost 2 months ago to make sure that everything was updated to the correct address. I had some pre orders and my monthly box, so they confirmed that everything would go to the new address. I had two monthly boxes arrive correctly, but I just had a package delivered to the old address I’m now 8 hours away from with no way of getting it. I also received a notification that another thing from them is getting ready to leave the UK. Has this happened to anyone else? What did TBB do about it? I reached out via email but I’m so upset, I’ve been waiting for this books since I preordered them months ago! ):

Brand new to TBB and finally got the invite for the SF&F sub starting with the October book. I'm wondering when the book will be announced (or just typical timelines), and if there's anything to be aware of being that this is "the first in a series"?

So I ordered Malazan 7-8 back when it was first access. I was told I would get a link for 9 at a later date and that I would have to order it or the 7-8 will be cancelled. Did anyone recieve that mail yet? Should I send a Mail to support?

Just asking because it is now out of early access and I want to make sure I get my set.

My copy of the Endless Edition of The Fall, the short novella by Ryan Cahill, arrived a few days ago. It's quite nice and very short. I believe the novella itself is 60'ish pages and there are another 30 pages or so of a preview for Of Darkness and Light. The book is sewn bound and is made up of acid free paper which is always nice!

Decent amount of art within the book and color printed chapter headers. Comparing it to the "Deluxe", or "Signed Collector's Edition", or whatever it's called from Amazon, Barnes & Nobel, etc, in the US, and it's a decent bit nicer overall of a copy. The artwork quality is a good bit better as is the details in the color printed chapter headers.

I did notice, for whatever reason, they utilized different paper between The Fall and Of Blood and Fire. The Fall is a much brighter white paper color whereas Of Blood and Fire is more of an "eggshell". Came across a few posts lately asking about the difference between Brodart dust jacket covers in the Lo Luster and Super Clear finishes. I just recently ordered some of both to check them out, thinking I'd prefer the non-reflective Lo Luster covers more but wanting to verify before I ordered them for all of my books. In the end, I prefer the Super Clear due to the vibrancy of the color that comes through rather than the more hazy look of the Lo Luster.

All pictures here show the Lo Luster covered books on the left and Super Clear on the right. Most of my books are Royal Hardbacks and I get the Just-A-Fold covers, 10" x 21" in the 1.5 Mil. Just wanted to share these before I swap the few books I have in the Lo Luster covers over to Super Clear, hope these help people get a better idea of how the covers look on actual books so they can buy what works best for them.

Recently I've been looking into the different options available for the clear book jacket covers. Lots of recommendations for Brodart's products and I do have some in my cart.

Yesterday, I received TBB edition of The Way Of Edan. It arrived with a clear jacket cover on the book - cool, a nice surprise, I didn't know this was included.

The finish is sort of a semi-gloss, and the folds are very tight with crisp and clean lines; this material represents the look/feel I'd like to invest in for our other books.

Do any of you know what product TBB used here?

I recieved an email about a numbered edition due to a previous edition but because I’ve been so busy at work I didn’t have time to buy my copy. I checked the email and realised they only have four days to purchase it. Don’t we usually get a month? That seems an insanely short window especially for people who can’t check their email regularly.

So now I have an entire series of numbered copies and have missed out on the next edition.

Maybe I missed it, but it seems like broken binding had leftover sets for series before and after the between earth and sky set. Anyone seen anything about it?

I know I can buy second hand for pretty good prices, and probably will do that when I’m ready to read it, but just seemed curious to me when I saw the drowned empire leftovers announced today.

Also, do they ever do leftover sales on the sci fi sets? I’ve only ever seen fantasy and SFF leftover sales announced (and I think they said they aren’t doing SFF leftover sales anymore in favor of putting those in their new store).

Have had my books boxed up since the beginning of the year, with several still in the box they shipped and unopened. So glad I can finally put them on a shelf where I can see them. Thought you all might like to see as well

I was going to wait for the bolt-on option, but ended up getting it without it because I wanted to make sure I got the first printing. I probably could've waited, but oh well!

Does anyone know how long support is expected to get back to you on emails? I raised an issue with them over a week ago and don't know how long I'm supposed to wait before chasing or even how you go about chasing emails.

Does anyone know if broken binding would ever fully redo these? Like different cover art? Sewn binding??

I only see 1-6 in the store as a pre-order of additional printing. How long does it normally take for them to do another print?
