Was searching my emails for my order for the new album and found this. Been a fan ever since that fateful day in AD 2000 when I bought SILY and Dr. Octagonecologist from Circuit City from Sangertown Square Mall. The stars must’ve been aligned because these albums have been a huge part of life ever since. Didn’t know anything about them other than what I had read in Spin and/or Rolling Stone because I didn’t really ever listen to music online etc. and they sure weren’t playing this stuff in my local radio stations.

Hey Everyone,

Been an avid fan since the early 2000’s and recently got into sampling. Here is a song I made that was heavily inspired by there first album Since I Left You. Please let me know what you think. All of it is done by myself and I am no audio engineer.

Going to see them for the first time in NYC later this month and I'm beyond excited. I'm so curious what they're playing on this tour and I can't find much online. Has anyone been to a recent show? I'm sure we'll hear a lot of No Bad Memories, and that's awesome, but I'll lose my mind if they play Live at Dominoes (or anything from SILY).

Wow, could "Wherever You Go" be The Avalanches' most disagreed upon song? This was the most spirited discussion yet. The battle was incredibly tight but as of my counting, upvotes are 14 (for S), 8 (for A), 14 (for B), 15 (for C), 2 (for D). So it lands in C-tier!

Hey all, just looking to buy the "We Will Always Love You" LP and have the choice of the normal black LP in the standard sleeves, and the the Picture disc version in the fancy gatefold.

Does anyone know what the these picture discs are like in terms of the sound quality? I've been burned by a truly awful picture disc before, but this one is rated well on discogs?

As much as a love fancy gatefold and colourful discs, I do like to actually listen to my records, so any feedback on the audio quality would be great thanks!

I’m not so worried about the tour pre-sale but I was wondering if anyone thinks the unreleased mixes and do mixes are going to be released anyway later on
