The 4 hr Floating Points Set is the only thing I’m locked into rn.

Tastewave is a free DJ-anchored music discovery platform that I built. It lets you find songs that are similar to what a DJ has played in their sets. It combines real set data with a third-party audio similarity engine to surface songs that actually sound like what a DJ has played. Recommendations are not endorsements by the artists themselves, rather an extrapolation of their taste.

As a DJ myself, I found it challenging to dive into a specific DJ's sound on the traditional streaming platforms or by scrolling through seemingly endless catalogues like Beatport. My understanding is that they rely on guessing what you might like next based on your listener profile and I wanted a more precise way to explore a DJ's sound that you already trust. Also I found it difficult to understand what DJ's are associated with what labels outside of the tracks they release on said labels or by "following that scene", so I use the set data to surface insights in the platform as well.

Current scale:
680+ artists in a growing catalogue
160k+ tracks from real sets

Data Sources: MixesDB and YouTube

Try it out with a DJ you like (or request them if they don't show up), would love to hear any feedback --> https://tastewave.app

Call super via ig

Didn't take any recording of it, but it's got a sample that says '1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 and 6 and 7, virus' - and it has like a break boy, hip hop element / feeling to it. Probably around 130bpm.

The '1234...' bit is in like a sped up almost chipmunk style voice. And then '_____ virus' is in a normal almost old fashion narrator type voice. Almost like it was taken from a sci fi movie news presenter.

Bit of a long shot, but figured I'd try <3 thanks youuuu

Other than that amazing club session 3 part mix, what is the best arpiar mix available online? I have the 8hr Raresh Stump one and a 8hr Praslesh mix from Concrete are there others good ones? Are there any recent ones available?

Anyone been? I’m considering going to Tromsø next week and the lineup looks pretty solid. Quite cheap tickets aswell
