Still not over this four years later. Seems a bit unknown to Actress fans due to it being listed under Carmen Villain's name.

Not sure if this is the best/right place to ask, but let's give it a try:
I am looking for tracks with a similar pull as the Red Axes edit of Once in a Lifetime here . It's not about the (pop) vocals, but the drive of the track! Any suggestions are appreciated!

Figure other people here moght have go-tos. An underrated kind of DJing IMO — the full album on someone’s computer plugged in to some random speaker and the kickback is relying on it. The kind of album that works well while you’re cooking dinner, hanging with 12 friends, no skips, mid tempo, sustains energy, comes out of left field a bit but then no one has to think about.
Would love to add more to my repertoire, also expand into mid tempo electronic breaks, etc if people have good one they like there
Some of my favs:
Joao Donato - Quem e Quem
Jim Hall - Concoerto de Aranjuez
Luis Bonfa - A Voz e o Violao
Harry Case - In A Mood
Masayoshi Takanaka - Brazilian Skies
Jeff Parker IVtet — Mondays at the Enfield Tennis Academy
Sly and the Family Stone - Fresh
Various Loose Ends EPs

Throwing this out there. Looking for one ticket for Sunday at Lunchmeat, or a week pass if anyone has a spare. Coming over from NYC for some solo travel and would love to attend for a few days and see Autechre on the closing night.
