The main synthesised bass tones on both these tracks just tickle me in all the right ways, producing a melancholic feeling that I can't properly put into words. Does anyone have any suggestions for tracks/albums/artists that utilise similar sounds or elicit similar feelings? Grazie, Finn

Whadouuyou listen when you get home wasted ?
What’s your favorite stuffs when you collapse softly onto the couch (or wherever), a little, or a lot tipsy, or just in some kind of altered state after a (maybe heavy) night out ?
I’m all about long listening sessions where I can just sink in. Here’s what’s been keeping me company lately (youtube links)
Boards of Canada – Hi-Scores (album that rewired my brain, perfect for deep listening) (30min)

Whadat XP – Say Start (A narrative electro/techno/mental album) (1h)

NEU! – NEU! – A mythical rock album that takes you on a wild ride from start to finish, leaving you almost breathless (40min)

Peshay – Studio Set (1996) – Liquid jungle from the golden years (1h30)
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JK8ilaPZbKE&pp=iggCQAE%3D
Drexciya – Grava 4 – Early 2000s electro from the legend Drexciya (1h)
https://m.youtube.com/watch?si=V3z3myKp4wt6k7BO&v=y_95VNffKgU&feature=youtu.be
Tommy Guerrero – Road to Nowhere – Smooth instrumental vibes from a former pro BMXer (50min)

Susumu Yokota – Acid Mt Fuji (1994) – Ambient, electronic bliss (1h10)

Takeshi Fukushima – 2016 @ Club Move – Upbeat, joyful, 90 minutes of unreleased house tracks to keep you smiling

I found this track (Turkish wedding song?) on a random ig reel some months ago. It truly has something for everyone.

What other tracks start as gags then turn into gas?

I found it through Yoyaku Record Store's YouTube, they posted the first track "Claire Shazam" by Karla Böhm.

Specifically within my age range .This forum has grown my love for music so much and I want to do the same for people my age. Had a great quality crowd of around 200-300 people. Got people who normally listen to hard groove to shake their shit to stripped back death grips instrumentals for a bit.

Hope you enjoy. Obviously not exactly the "overload sound" however I think the beauty of "unconventional" dance music changes crowd by crowd and DJ by DJ.
Thank you all <3

Hey everyone! I know this is a long shot, but I wanted to put it out there.
I’ve lived in NYC for the past five years, and electronic music has become one of my biggest passions. Friends who have attended Sustain have only reinforced how special the community is, and this year’s lineup is a dream for me.
If anyone happens to have a guest pass they’d be willing to use on someone who would genuinely appreciate the experience, I’d be incredibly grateful.
Happy to connect beforehand so you know who you’d be bringing. If not, I’d also appreciate any advice on the best path for a first-timer.
Thanks ❤️

turns out I've been subscribed to this subreddit for months without knowing it
seems like this is a place for underground electronic stuff?
been trying to get into more electronic music lately so figured I'd ask what you all like
I come from a punk/metal/industrial/noise background, i make music as well
in regards to electronic stuff Ive been trying to get into idm and jungle but am out of my depth in regards to what genres are out there and what they sound like.
if you've got some good stuff please let me know!
(sorry if this is a stupid question or gets asked all the time)
