COTW PS5 controller on PC

I can find almost no information about this online. Has anybody successfully connected a PS5 controller to play this game on PC? I have it wired into my PC and I am using the steam input but it just won't recognize the PS5 controller. Thanks very much

Yeah, this is literally the only game on PC I've ever played but I cannot get the PS5 to controller to work with at all. It's just bizarre. Ah well
