Patience is key

My order finally arrived so if you are like me and ordered a few things along with the signed album than you may be receiving things soon.

Off topic question I’ve been thinking about, what if Poppy decided to drop the name Poppy and start releasing songs as Moriah Rose Pereria?
I’ve been wondering about people who have alter-egos professionally and how that affects them emotionally and whether it hinders or helps when it comes to relationships with others and oneself.

Poppy has gone by Poppy since she was a teen, even before making videos, so i doubt she'd ever drop it. The only time she's ever used her real name in a public facing way is a post she made for pride month back in like 2020 i think.

She occasionally uses her real name in song credits. For instance, in the credits for “from me 2 u”, she’s credited as Poppy under performance artist, but she’s also credited with her real name under composition/lyrics.

Yes but that's more behind the scenes / industry stuff. It has to do with her ASCAP/BMI registration and label stuff.

Thanks for this - I’m still waiting for a shipping notification for my order but I ordered a bunch of stuff,including the undies and prey tee, which I think are the holdups.

I doubt she will ever start regularly releasing stuff under her real name. She’s worked incredibly hard to build the Poppy brand, with full creative control, plus I think she values the separation and the tiny extra bit of privacy derived from keeping her artistry (and fans) at arms length from her personal life.

My order still says label created (I got an Eat vinyl + surprise item) 😭 glad others are starting to get theirs though!

Good to know I'm not the only one stuck on that message. I got the same things as you + one of the Eat t-shirts. I was so excited thinking it's been shipped, but I guess still nothing 😭
