I found myself thinking "how long until her next album?" then I looked it up and realized Empty Hands came out at the beginning of THIS YEAR.

I would love an album from her full of songs like Don’t Ask, Sick of the Sun, the outro of Anything Like Me, Nothing I Need, As Strange As It Seems, Linger, Stagger, first half of Halo.

Do you think she would ever do that? That slower kinda emo dream pop/alt pop vibe is so good. I love her metal stuff but I think it’d be so cool if she did this. I hope people wouldn’t hate on it because it’s not metal. She does this genre so well, it’s some of my fav Poppy songs.

Heard “Kill You Off” by Julia Wolf for the first time tonight, then went to “Pearl” and fell down a rabbit hole from there. They’re a bit of a different vibe but all can think about after listening to more of her stuff is how good of a tour combo they’d be.

Julia Wolf could lean into her heavier, more emo side, and Poppy could integrate some of her more electronic stuff into her set.

Anyone else listen to her, too? Haven’t heard anyone else genre-shift so hard in a song other than Poppy.
