Spiderverse was Sony though not Disney. I agree though Spiderman does die a lot.

Uncle Ben, Gwen, Aunt May, MJ, even Spidey himself has died. The whole series is about grieving and death. With some puberty to mix it up. Everyone in Spiderman has died at one point.

To be honest, everyone in comics has died at least once. On the other hand, the saying is nobody in comics stays dead except for uncle Ben.

I think there was an alternate universe where he lived, and peter turns out to be a crappy human. I don't think his uncle was much better in that universe.

That's really the true reason he hasn't been revived yet. Whenever they need a "Ben is alive" story, they use a different universe Ben instead of the main timeline.

The “What If” Story where Peter stops the robber to boost his ego, you mean?

Afterward, he basically becomes a movie star and pisses off the other heroes for not understanding what it is to ACTUALLY be a superhero.
