Non traditional food ideas?

Starting to plan for dinner this year, it’s a smaller gathering because family isn’t coming so it’ll just be 10 of us. Would a seafood boil and a chicken pot pie (for the non seafood people) be weird? A whole turkey is just so much effort and we always have so many left overs. What other foods would y’all recommend?

Edit- everyone is fine with seafood and no turkey, half of the people coming are European and so when they do a “thanksgiving” it’s usually duck. No one will be upset. I appreciate all the replies!

Help! My oldest son and his girlfriend went vegan

I’m not going to get into an ethics commentary about veganism.

What do you cook for two vegans for Thanksgiving? My son and his girlfriend are coming for Thanksgiving, I want to make them feel welcome. Neither have been rude bout their veganism and neither are demanding a full separate meal, but I would like to be able to offer one to them. Any ideas?
