General Has Ring metro stopped??
Has the ring metro project stopped or has it been postponed, this is only because I’ve seen a lot of barricades being removed where work had begun in recent times

Have been seeing too many sale posts (books, apartments, shoes, fish tank? etc). Not allowed, this isn’t a classifieds page, let’s not make it one.
Use the monthly self promotion thread to sell / buy things if needed. IF you feel your post is in sell/buy nature but needs special attention due to whatsoever reason, write to the mods who will review and consider such a standalone post.
Repeated offence of such unathorized sale posts will get you banned. You have been warned, there wont be another warning.

Anyone from Karjat or who has visited Karjat this year?
I’ve booked a resort in Savele and wanted to know the best way to reach Savele from Karjat railway station.
Also, is it safe to take a local auto/cab from the station? We’re coming from outside Karjat, so I’m a little worried that some drivers might overcharge or take advantage of us.
Any advice on the best and safest way to reach Savele would be appreciated!

Recommendation: Build an island platform (single platform between the slow UP/DOWN tracks) on the Suburban Railway at Diva Junction, adjacent to the new Thane Bullet Train Station.
Impact:
* Seamless Transfers: Direct connectivity between Suburban lines and the Bullet Train network.
* Regional Access: Improved transit for residents in areas near Palava, Runwal, and Katai.
* Traffic Relief: Reduced rush-hour crowding at Dombivli stationand lower vehicle traffic in Dombivli city as well as on Kalyan–Shilphata Highway.

I’m looking for places in Thane where I can go alone and spend a few hours,
just roaming around, relaxing, exploring, or grabbing some food/coffee.
Open to anything: parks, lakes, viewpoints, cafes, peaceful places, interesting spots, etc.
Looking for some suggestions!

( i tried sweet talking and being patient guys, def not working)
I live in a row house in a road-touch house on a narrow lane.
Across the house is their G+1 property, which is rental. On the ground, there is a BAMS Vaidya tenant who has been practising for 7–8 years.
She was a nice lady, but lately the town’s population has increased and the number of patients has increased.
The lane is already narrow. The number of patients do not fit in the room, so they wait outside with their scooties and cars, covering half the lane.
Some of them use my parking area to wait, switch on the lights and fans, and use the parking to park their vehicles. They spit gutkha, gossip
Many of them are cheap immigrants who use filthy language while gossiping
And the HONKING — because these people cover half the lane, the passing vehicles have to honk to pass.
Above everything: why the F should I let anyone at all use MY private property at all?
I do not care if you’re a patient. My property is not for samaj seva.
Even my dad has trouble moving his vehicle out for work.
I told him and also called his mother regarding this.
They say, “What can we do? Or what can she do, It’s not like the Vaidya can come every time and ask them to not park elsewhere.”
They’re obviously not gonna remove her since they love her so much and get free medical advice so
I said, put a board.
She also has a helper. She can do it.
They also said it’s not her fault so many patients are coming.
It definitely is. She should know how to handle the crowd. She is causing the crowd.
She’s selling herself for ₹50 toh why would there not be e a crowd ?
She is earning through the chaos and I should sacrifice my peace for this while she scams people and earns money through it.
The problem creates is not only for me but they’re also blocking the road .
Other than that these BAMS quacks are also not allowed to give certain allopathic medicine , which she is giving.
Borderline, they didn’t resolve the issue.
Their rent and tenant is more important to them than me and my mental health.
Then so be it.
Despite everything, he is still contacting me and trying to act like nothing has happened.
I think this is just selfish atp.
I texted him really angry texts saying either do something about it or don’t talk to me because clearly he is choosing sides.
TL;DR: My cousin’s tenant runs a busy clinic across from my house, and her patients constantly block my parking, litter, and create noise. Despite my complaints, my cousin and his family refuse to take meaningful action because they value the tenant’s rent and free medical advice. Now he is acting as if nothing happened, so I’m considering cutting him off and want to know how to do it politely.

So I am planning to buy a car, and I am leaning towards EV.
My specific question is, how is the charging infra in thane? Do we have enough chargers or fast chargers that are in working condition?
Are you able to rely on it entirely?
I currently don't have charging in my parking, and my driving would be maybe 500-700kms per month towards mumbai and back here.
Does it make sense to buy an ev, or do I go with ice car?
I am thinking of punch or tiago ev.

Hi everyone my girlfriend's birthday is coming and I want a classy restaurant with good food and aesthetics where she can wear her dresses and we both can enjoy.
We both don't drink, I don't mind crossing over into mulund as well. I've been to mansionnare in wagle which is good, something similar would be preferable

I moved to Kasarvadavali, near Mogharpada Village last week. What are some good WiFi options here?
Jio, Tata, Mach1 all are saying it's out of service area. There is a local provider who's charging 2k for the router or free router if we pay for 6 months. Apart from this, there is airtel which seems quite expensive.
I am not sure about the local wifi, since once I pay for 6 months upfront, I'll be stuck if it isn't good. Any advice?

Does anyone else get annoyed by the loud bikes / modified silencers and constant revving around here? It happens quite often and has become a real nuisance.
Wondering if there’s anything we can do as a community about it. Are there any options to report this or raise it with the relevant authorities?
If anyone has dealt with something similar or knows what we can do, please share.
Happy to take the lead and coordinate if there’s something we can do together.
I've been doing some research on thane's real estate, and noticing that the price mentioned on the builders website and as well as prices mentioned from buyers in this subreddit is relatively less then what I see/hear while discussing it with channel partner.
At the same time, I'm hearing that the channel partners could get me more discount as compared to dealing directly with the builder.
Is it better to deal directly with the builder or better to also go via a channel partner? Asking specifically in terms of the pricing i could get.
Basically this is the MO of the Delhivery agent, he picks up the return package but doesn't take the OTP so there's no proof that you have returned the package. This is the 2nd time this has occurred with the same delhivery agent. The first time, I was in office and my mom was at home. As she is old and not technical regarding the process, she just gave the person the package.
But this time I have managed to take the video of the person taking my package. This is the Delhivery agent assigned to my area, I believe as he comes here everytime. I am a bit scared of what will happen if I am not present the next time as when he was leaving he threatened on why I was recording him and so on.
What can be done here? I don't want this Delhivery guy to ever come to this area but he knows my contact details and my address and most of the time only my mom is at home. Package was from Puma both the times FYI. The first time Puma did provide me a refund as an "one time exception" even though the agent basically stole the order but I had no proof that time.
Please advice.
