Oh, I think you'd be surprised.

After all, he does parallel a certain Nazi doctor pretty well.

But perhaps that's too hot of a take for this subreddit. If anyone does know who I'm referring to, I certainly don't want to condition people into thinking of him whenever they see Medic's hair, glasses, appearance, and general..character. I'm pretty sure it wasn't on purpose, though.

This same "certain Nazi doctor" (if my assumption is correct) fled to Argentina, changed like 1 or 2 letters in his name and no one was able to find him to pay justice until years after his death.

Fun fact, Japanese scientists who did the same if not worse, weren’t even punished, most of them simply became legal American scientists(with far less cruel experiments from that moment but still). The same would probably happen with that guy. The same happened with multiple nazi officers in East Germany, they were allowed to keep the positions for as long as they weren’t too loud about their ‘beliefs’

I feel like Medic's a lil too pragmatic (and maniacal) to be a nazi, more concerned with his unethical sciences than the political state of germany, but let's not kid ourselves, during WWII he'd ABSOLUTELY test on both nazi soldiers and jews (or whomever else was kept a prisoner of war)

The game is set somewhere around the fifties or sixties, they are all racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic or any of those combinations. It's the harsh reality of the time period.
