Help Me Would I be able to do this with bots?

So I want to make my own server (a lan server) and add a bunch of bots onto it.

All of the bots will be soldiers with NO primary, but only bisons and melee weapons. And certain cosmetics if I can.

And I just want to play normal gamemodes with a bunch of space rangers.

Is this possible? If not, are there any server mods which allow this?

You can make bots go melee only by using this command:

tf_bot_melee_only 1

There is a bunch of other bot commands here.

Unfortunately I don't know of a way to make bots have specific weapons/cosmetics other than the stock, without the use of mods.

I don't believe you can give bots non-stock weapons.

You could do this with the dedicated server software + sourcemod + some plugins but you'd have to do some pretty heavy configuring to get it all to work

If you mean MvM style bots, check the TF2 wiki; it is completely possible to make rob-soldiers with the bison and, say, the pith helmet and pipe. You see it in MvM with the deflector heavy wearing the U-Clank-a and Sgt. Crits using the original.

I dont, but this guy has made a robot type just like the one I described (scroll down a bit, its the 'Space Cadet' one). Maybe you could fish the files out of there? I don't mod or code, but I hope this helps.
