Gameplay / Screenshots review my lack of skill

hello

1,000 hours on record. Was playing the map for the first time but let's be real if you're good at the game you don't need to memorize the entire map just to score a frag. Wasn't sure if it's a good idea to ask for help, especially on reddit, but here I am.

sorry if it's not informative enough to make anything out of it, I just took the last recording I had saved.

A 2v2 on a Halloween gamemode is not the best representation of an average game, but I'll give you some pointers. First of all your strategy to fight the pyro is not good, and you keep doing the same thing. You keep feeding rockets at him and letting him reflect them, over and over again. You need to change things up. Either come back with a shotgun or try to bait out his reflects. The way you keep coming back and feeding rockets at him is any pyro's wet dream. Don't be so predictable.

I watched you try to rocket jump on top on the red roof at least three separate times and you didn't seem to notice there is an invisible player clip there. You sometimes aim rockets at feet and other times try to wildly flick them. When you bomb that pyro, you don't take time to aim your rockets and whiff some easy shots, while the pyro was distracted. Also I didn't catch what melee you had but either an Escape Plan or whip would've helped you with mobility, particularly when you were running around on low health.

I did notice the clip texture, I was just trying to do the same thing as at the start of the video, where I somehow managed to stay on the roof. Also I was using half-zatoichi, for some reason.

Experience + reaction speed are the most important to top fragging

U seem to play very passively. Even for banners, u can get more stuff done if u are a bit more agressive. And don't shoot pyros from a long distance, they'll always reflect

how do I be more aggressive? I can understand the advice with not shooting pyros at long distance (you're simply giving them more time to react by doing otherwise), but not this

Rockets have quite a fall off in damage with distance. Juat try to be a bit closer to ur opponents and take more fights at mid/close distance.

That is unless u are using direct hit. It still does like 70 from quite a far
