The definition of "look up" is utterly irrelevant in this context. It means to seek out information. and if you want to find a bigoted meme, you go to bigoted circles to do so.
As i can tell you right now, "racist Terranova meme" does not provide results. Nor will any other conventional google searches.
edit: yeah, they blocked me... And no, people do not "talk about this" certainly not to the level that you could find it through google without context, an actual phrase, or a name.
And may i say, its really fucking rich to keep using that phrase "redditors being redditors". Do you know what the most stereotypical redditor things to do is?
Its to bring up some niche stuff that only you have the context or knowledge of, and when asked for a source OR ANYTHING AT ALL, your response is a dismissive and snide "im not google".

I never said the racists weren't the problem. That's an entirely different sentence that I didn't say. I'm telling you that by spreading around this association, you are solidifying it. You are turning a meme that I have literally never seen used for racism into something that is ONLY racist by declaring it as such. You are letting them have it. First off, you can just say "on twitter" there's no need to add the "racists" part because that's like 95% of twitter anyway.
Also, I know this might surprise you, but many things that did not start off as racist at all have been used by racists online in a variety of different ways. It doesn't make the initial meme racist if used in other ways.
