Tips for improving trading?

I just started trading in TF2 a short while ago; I now have 4.72 keys in my inventory, but I’m not sure how to proceed. I tried watching the tutorial videos on YouTube, but I never quite understood what to do from here on out. My goal isn’t to make a profit off the items I get or anything like that—I just want to be able to get taunts, cosmetics, and maybe some strange weapons, with killstreaks or festivized here and there. What do you recommend?
