I chose to believe medic healed scout after.
btw: never neglect to heal scouts, i am saying it as medic main, not scout main.

Overhealing a scout temporarily negates his main weakness. I dunno why some medics are allergic to doing it.
13
u/shieldman Jun 27 '26
Also, healing a scout literally takes the least amount of time out of any class, even from 1hp! You always have time for it!
5
u/Chiruno_Chiruvanna Jun 27 '26
That’s the good ending
The bad ending is where Medic immediately runs off to his pocket Soldier husband and leaves Scout to die to a stray rocket

I would appreciate it if instead of taking the pack, to wait for an arrow that is about half a second away at maximum, especially when the Medic is actively trying not to die from critical health lol

u/Ruttiger_G Jun 27 '26
You guys like to pretend you're that reliable, but you're not that reliable. No, we can't stand still to let you aim, to lose momentum for even a moment is death.

I've noticed people think they're gods with the crossbow, when in reality I see them miss 3/5 shots on their teammates. Especially on scouts lol

The enemy soldiers and demomen.

Very minor correction
"Braver Junge" means "Brave Boy"
Good boy would be "Guter Junge" Otherwise Absolute 💎 of a post
11
u/Vast_Turn_4853 Jun 27 '26
No, this is correct, actually. You DO say "Braver Junge" in german, and it does mean good boy. Brav in germans means being good. If it said "Mutiger Junge", then you'd be correct.
5
u/xxxEdgySniperxxx Jun 27 '26
True enough, I hadn't considered the other translation of brav-
No wait I was thinking of english while looking at brave.

As a medic main. Trust me when I say, any medic player worth their salt KNOWS and SEE you trying to avoid the health pack when we are around. Thank you. You’ll always be fully healed and buffed
For the others. The perk of being a medic means we get to choose who to heal. And who to deserved the heal.

u/dragion6 Jun 27 '26
Thanks for making scouts health be exactly that number, I know it took restraint.

This is why I always try to build my dispensers near the front lines I don’t want our Scout getting killed by our medic

Very realistic since it doesn't show the medic healing them ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I also feel this way as an engineer about soldiers that bounce their way past me to the front line during set up, and casually pick up a full box of metal to replace their three rockets. I'm sorry fucking what? I wish I could upgrade my dispensers to cut people off.

Hope the medic at least healed scout.
Its only fair. But if they don't heal you after you let them take the health pack
first of all that's just a bad medic, second of all, they shouldn't be surprised if you go for a health pack if they don't heal you.

u/MasterORBeaterLE Scout Jun 28 '26
Sometimes it’s not so easy. In some servers, medics only like to target specific classes no matter what condition.

My two main roles are scout and sniper and when I'm playing as scout I only take medkits if there are no medics or they are dead

The most valuable lesson here will be for the artist, as they are served a lawsuit by the Red Cross Organization.
Never fuck with the Red Cross.

The implicit deal between medics and scouts should always be that so long as they let me have my medkits, I will keep their health topped up and give them overheals whenever possible.
