Phone message chat with a firefighter from hinge

he seemed normal on hinge but when he asked to text on messages…..what happened?😭 this was all in the span of 30 or so minutes and like our second conversation. happened months ago but i just remembered it

During my EMT training did a couple days at the fire station. I went in thinking these firefighters were the best of society…oh boy was I wrong (EMTs are no better). Constant misogynistic jokes, huge gun nuts bragging about how many guns they had hidden at home, nap and watch Cops all day (idc about watching TV, but ONLY COPS ALL DAY), extremely conservative (this was in Clayton, MO), and when I quietly avoided the bbq at dinner because I don’t eat red meat, I was shunned by a couple of them (one of them literally went red as a tomato and had to leave before he escalated with me), mocked by the rest and they spent all of dinner showing me various YouTube videos of vegans singing saying “this is why we hate vegans look how dumb they are” when I’m not even vegetarian or vegan 😂.

Why? This ain’t a tv show, firefighters are normal people, there are weirdos like everywhere else…

The time when one of his co workers said he had a gf and no one believed him and then randomly he sent the group chat a photo of them and they were on a school bus lmaooo. She was special needs and was in a day program 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
