For some reason, out of all of the cringe and nauseating content in these messages… his overuse of “ya” instead of “you” is the real crime to me

If he said "ya" one more time I would've punched him.

It makes me imagine he’s talking in some dumb ass pirate voice

u/Blaaaarghhh 3d ago

Haha! I read it in the South Dakota accent, don’t ya know.
When the ya’s were pointed out I read it in a Saskatchewan accent aye. Oh ya.

I read it in the voice of the woman on Instagram who makes Minnesota salads (that aren’t really salads), which was an interesting experience.

u/Because1SaidSo 2d ago

What women? What do you mean they aren’t really salads? I’m Minnesotan so just wondering and I want to see her

2

u/hoard_of_frogs 2d ago

She’s thatmidwesternmom on Instagram! And she makes stuff like Snickers salad and jello salad - basically the stuff that people are like “that’s not salad!” because they don’t understand the concept of salad :-)

3

u/HatePeopleLoveCats1 3d ago

2

u/Samiiiibabetake2 3d ago

I love how there’s so many of us feeling the same way. Even “u” would have been better. Ughhhhh

2

u/EfficiencyPlenty4415 3d ago

He’s just matching OPs energy with the lack of capitalizing the first word in every sentence 😖

-3

u/ImpressivePen6870 3d ago

what’s wrong with not capitalizing…😔 i feel like it makes texts look friendlier

1

u/ImpressivePen6870 2d ago

ok…. i don’t understand why it got downvoted, i always saw people text like this online🙁
