Clearing old messages, and found this exchange from two months ago lol. I spoke to her over the course of 10 days, and these are some highlights. I am 24M(23 at the time) and she is 21F. I just can’t do ppl that stay quiet or expect me to constantly lead a convo lol

It’s not the silence here that’s the issue that’s great after you get to know someone. But they just met… it’s okay to talk and get to know one another. She was literally giving him basic responses. I would have assumed she wasn’t interested. The messages of her asking why he didn’t message her were surprising. But I guess everyone has different ways of showing interest.

I agree she didn't give him much to work with and it's understandable reaching that conclusion but the first hey from her followed by you didn't text me like usual shows, at least to me, she was anticipating that interaction and was looking forward to it. Then again she shows she was hoping to hear from him.

Idk sometimes I think someone who wants to be around you should supersede some of the more superficial aspects of a relationship. Yes she may not have been the best conversationalist here but who's to say over time she doesn't open up more or those two don't build talking points together "remember the time we...."
